Anna on Sky. Watchable thriller. Lead is mighty attractive.

1939 on Netflix. Thought it would be more war focussed but more about life during the war. 3 hours of OK.

The Resistance Banker on Netflix. Good watch.

Best of Enemies ( on Netflix )

Would make a good Sunday afternoon film.

Based on a true story.

Sam Rockwell plays a KKK leader in North Carolina, who slowly forms a very unlikely and lasting friendship, with a black civil rights advocate ( Tara Henderson ).

Rockwell and Henderson are excellent in the leads, but the film feels like it strayed a bit from the really tough stuff to keep it entertaining.

Well put together though a nice little narrative at the end from the real people.

Kenny

An Australian mockumentary type film about a plumber.

Just put it on whilst it was quiet working from home thinking it was a nice, daft comedy to pass the time.

It was, but it was also much more than that and had me in tears at parts. Brilliant film

Good shout. The Dad stole the show.

The French Connection. Won 5 Oscars. Thought it was OK at most. Perhaps it was groundbreaking at the time.

The scenes with the dad are brilliant.

It’s heartbreaking when he has to leave America to see him in the hospital. That’s when the film goes into the 3rd act and really flips it on its head.

Brothers nest is another one of their films I really liked.

I’ve seen better episodes of Dr Who.

Skylines - third film in the Skyline series.

I’ve seen better episodes of Dr Who.

Not even Nicolas Cage in the lead could’ve saved it.

It was like a 2 hr version of Doctor Who crossed with Red Dwarf, but without the laughs !
