Ill give it a look later,I watched the art of self defence the other day,awful film,a poor mans Kobra Kia

It`s a decent enough film, avoids a lot of cliches and the acting is decent, plus around the halfway mark, it has you questioning what you believe to be true.

ps - watched a decent Skandi noir last night - Moerte. ( on Netflix )

Swedish. A young journalist stumbles across a serial killer, who befriends, marries and then murders disabled ladies, inc his sister.

Watches like a decent BBC4 foreign film.

Watched that last week. Good film.

Once upon a Time in America... watching it now ... one of my favourite films ever

Watched this true story on Amazon Prime, The Courageous Heart of Irena Sendler, good TV film.
Irena Sendler was a nurse who saved many children in the ghetto from deportation during the holocaust, she deserves to be aswell known as Schindler. Also at the was a short interview with her at the end credits.

It’s totally ridiculous, but it’s everything an action film should be. Not an overly complicated plot or reliance on CGI, just a very angry man who wants his daughter back.

Ghost In The Shell (2017) - I really liked it. Scarlett's not Japanese. Get over it. I really like it. 8/10.

Life Of Pi - Uhhh. Damn. I guess I'm still undecided about it a week later, which I guess is probably a good thing. I'll go with 8/10.

Looks good but utterly meh. Missed opportunity.

eh. haters gonna hate. Like I said, I enjoyed it. If anything, I thought the anime GITS was overrated.

Vanilla Sky - underrated movie. Penelope Cruz is terrific. 8/10.

I quite like 4. That's the one with the 'firesale' that nerdy kid and Kevin Smith isn't it?

Currently watching "The Ritual"...like a Brit version of "The Blair Witch Project"...a set of friends go hiking in the forests of Sweden and run into nefarious witchcraft. Pretty fun so far.
