Watched the Trial of the Chicago 7. Aaron Sorkin gets on my tits most of the time, but I have to say it was excellent. Brilliant acting, one of the best casts I've seen since Glengarry Glenross

too Sorkin for me, very irritating dialogue at times! Glengarry is a great movie tho, gonna watch that again this weekend!

I really liked this... was relieved to see Vinterberg back on top form, as Kursk was pretty underwhelming.

Watched One Night in Miami last night. Great dialogue, well delivered. You can tell it’s based on a play

tonight watched News of The World and Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. I’ve forgotten them both already really

Was looking at this last night, as the reviews have been excellent.

Shall watch tonight ( if the missus goes to bed handy ! )

You've got one of them as well? A wife who is unable to watch a decent film, I mean.

For most parts, it`s a really gentle film, as it`s all about the relationship between Hanks and the little girl ( who is fantastic ).

It`s a shade under two hours long and it really didn`t feel that long.

Have you ever read 'Firestarter' by Stephen King?

That's what got me about the book. The relationship between the father and the girl (the Firestarter). It moved me to get a bit of dust in my eyes or something gritty. Not sure what it was. The film never captured that, unfortunately.
