I watched peninsula (sequel) in the dentists.
Quite funny hearing the screams while the dentist was working away...but the snippets i saw it wasnt very good.
Joker. Underwhelmed. Dragged on even though it wasn't a long movie. Phoenix lacks the charisma of every other actor that has played joker.

The Apartment 1959
Trying to work my way through those films from the American Film institute top 100 of all time that I’ve either not seen or not seen in the last 10-15 years or so. Some absolute gash in there and some head scratchers, like Citizen Kane at No1.
Anyhow, The Apartment one of the better ones. Light and easy watch 7.5/10

Watched the Matrix with my kid... got to say its aged pretty well.. His first time obviously and seems we had a winner
Not often you can describe a Netflix film as a cracker, this is one of them.
Mosul.
Based on a true story, an Iraq Police SWAT team, defy orders and go back into ISIS held Mosul to rescue their families.
Very well acted, incredible sets ( shot in Morocco ) and really tight and well put together. Brutal, but they’ve probably toned the reality down to make the film.
Arabic with subs.

A black comedy about telemarketing/0 hours and other modern day work headaches,its a film you will like or hate,I'd say 7.5 rating
Second was
An independant film based on a 12 year old in Arkansas getting drawn into gang culture,worth a watch to see how lives are moulded
Lastly was a Spanish horror
Starts off really well,keeps the suspense going until the end,decent enough for a netflix movie

As far as Cold War submarine movies go, Crimson Tide is miles better.
But then all movies of the genre are pretty rubbish when compared to Das Boot.
