Last Film You Watched

Unknown Soldier, Finish film about the war between them and Russia in 1941. Amazing film, seems this is the third time this novel has been made into a film, i watched the most recent one, fantastic, spoken in Finish with subtitles, great foreign language film, recommened for fans of Cross Of Iron.
Also good to see a war film not about Americans, Germans or the British

Today, I watched 'The Bombing' on Netflix, aka 'Air Strike'. I've had it on my 'to watch' list for a while now. The trailer was intriguing and it starred Bruce Willis. Bruce Willis doesn't star in bad films, does he?

Apparently, yes, he does!

After ten minutes, I was ready to turn off. But it was so bad, I was kind of drawn in. It was so appallingly, atrociously bad, that I laughed so much it hurt. I can't remember the last time that I laughed so hard! So, I persevered for another hour or before I finally succumbed to an afternoon nap.

It was like watching a spoof film, except that it wasn't.

Braindead (known as Dead Alive in US). Best zombie film ever and highly quotable - “your mother ate my dog”.
Streamed it off YouTube, better quality than the VHS I used to have.
Released in 1992, directed by Peter Jackson.

System Crasher

Good but very stressful. About a child with behaviour problems going through the system.

Any film suggestions for me tonight? Not sure what to watch for once. Fancy something sci-fi and spacey (not Kevin).
Have you ever watched Dark Star by John Carpenter? It was his first film, I think and unlike anything else he made. Very quirky and I loved it when I watched it, although that was years ago.

OMFG! watched 'Like a boss' last week at the behest of my wife and daughter - besides Selma Hyak flaunting them, this has to be the worst movie made - ever! Zero redeeming moments, awful acting and even worse casting. Cliche'd characters and no humour. With obligatory Phoebe appearance at the end. Terrible plot, not even well filmed surely someone (possibly Selma) had to pay a lot of money to get that film made. It made lock-down Sunday afternoons something to be looked forward to.

I agree.

Den of Thieves any good? Just seen it's on TV this week.

Michael Caine one? Dreadful.
