The original is a masterpiece. The remake is a joke. "Not the bees! Not the bees! ARGHHHHHH! My eyes! ARGHHHHHH" Ffs!

There was the 1977 one and the remake in 2006.

The original, as you would expect has a real 70`s feel to it, but is rightly a cult classic.

The 2006 remake is surprisingly good.

Had to stream it in the end but the quality was fine. It’s absolutely amazing. More of a head mash than The Machinist and that’s saying something. Director is class so going to find another of his called The Witch from a few years back.

The latest remake of "the thing",awful awful attempt there was no suspense,of the isolation,the cgi wasn't as good as @tommye photoshopping ,the characters were so wooden the thing could have been a tree and slotted in nicely,watch the Kurt Russell one no this pile of crap

The Witch is excellent - real slow, suspenseful build up. A real old fashioned type of storytelling
