Original premises, well-thought-our dialogue, interesting characters, experimental style, one of the most creative filmmakers of all time...you call his films ‘tripe’, yet you laud the absolute garbage that is Disney Star Wars.

Idk, he "borrows" a lot but I certainly wouldn't accuse him of not being creative

The way he chopped up the timeline in Pulp fiction, I'd not seen that done like that before then.

Pulp Fiction was like nothing else when it came out, lots borrowed from it after and still do today, it has influenced so many films.

Pulp Fiction was like nothing else when it came out, lots borrowed from it after and still do today, it has influenced so many films.

There was a whole b movie genre which did these pulp kind of films in the 80's. He talks about them quite a lot, and some b movie western director in the 60's.

I've tried and the films are pretty much unwatchable, they are probably not even b movies, they are so bad but he obviously seems something lol
