Can see why people wouldn't like it but the underlying eeriness with the brightness of the images was great for me. I was concerned about the running time but it was fine in the end.
The Hitmans Body Guard.
Funniest film I’ve seen in a long time.
Ryan Reynolds ( the bodyguard ) has to get Samuel L Jackson ( the hitman ) to The Hague to give evidence of genocide against Gary Oldman, the president of a tin pot Eastern European country. All the while Gary Oldmans thugs are trying to kill them both.
Reynolds revises his roll as Dead Pool, but in a suit and Jackson revises his role as Jules in Pulp Fiction without the suit.
Full of comedy violence and first class car chases and Reynolds and Jackson just bounce off each other to perfection.
Wish I’d seen it in the cinema.

Just come out on Sky Cinema. A loner teams up with the neighbourhood dope dealer and helps expand the business to the extent that the big boys now want in. The problems of dating the dealers sister on the quiet suddenly pale into insignificance. Not a bad, if at times violent, watch with a good soundtrack...

Just been to see Ready Or Not, really enjoyed it, very dark gothic horror film but also funny. The girl who plays the main part is brilliant and the lighting set up and make up are great.
A couple of the family members are a bit pointless though.
Reminds me of a Edgar Allen Poe type thing that Vincent Peice would of been in.

Event horizon. Never caught it on its release. Surprisingly aged well I think.

Very under rated sci-fi horror, disturbing rather than scary.
Sam Neil is excellent in this.
