Last Film You Watched

Hereditary was good tbf, Not scary though and surely the point of horror is to frighten the audience. I think studios have to stop with the orchestral stabs, the jump scares, the grinning reflections, audio cues (the clop sound) ...and finally learn that showing more ...lessens the final impact.
Not meaning to [Poor language removed] the film, It was deffo enjoyable just curious how loads found it scary.

Herditary had some good bits but i laughed out loud at the end as it was so stupid.

Midsommar

Watched it last night - like Hereditary, most of the cinema were laughing for the last half hour - and not at the crap basic 'laugh at the dumb American' bits that were supposed to be funny

Ari Aster horror films are not for me at all - His attempts at 'creepy' don't work and the absurdity of the situations he places his characters just escalate and escalate to the point where they become daft rather than chilling

Watched Frank Miller's: The Spirt for the first time in a long time yesterday and I know that I'm probably in the very, VERY small minority here but I still really enjoyed it. It was a fun way to kill 90mins at any rate.

Just watched Pihu on Netflix. Very good indeed. Watched with the Mrs who was hiding behind her cushion a lot.it's about a two year old who finds her Mother has died and no -one else is around.Dad's on a business trip. Little Pihu is all alone in the apartment....
