The Crow

Think it’s the first time I’ve watched it since the dodgy VHS cinema copies, what a modern masterpiece that film is. Read the entire backstory on how Brandon Lee died and it stinks to high hell. Ironic the film was eventually ‘saved’ by Harvey Weinstein(s) money.

Anyway, incredibly dark, both visually and metaphorical and alternative superhero with real tragedy all over it.

Amazing soundtrack.

It's not about the story Joey, it's about killing lots of people and looking cool doing it, and no-ones trying to pretend otherwise!

Oh yes the special effects are top notch -good acting - but I like a story theme something to activate your mind - I have hreard no 2 is better than the first one , but no thanks....
Now Night crawler we watched the next evening was a really, really good film....

If you want something that “ activates “ your mind and is full on - Romper Stomper.

I think it’s possibly Russel Crowes first film ( certainly one of them ) and remains one of his finest.

Yeah was only around 16/17 at the time,never really been shown since airing on channel 4 for some reason
