Watched a few films this week as I've been off work all week

The Beast Within - decent little 80's horror flick

Humanoids From The Deep - cheesy as hell

Christine - another corny film but really fun watch

Batman Ninja - Batman as an anime, good but not great

Sweet Sixteen - paint by numbers teen slasher

Happy Death Day - awesome film, like a crazy hybrid of Groundhog Day and a slasher film

Freddy vs Jason - not seen this for a good 10 years, still the best of the 'modern' Nightmare and Friday films

Splatter - short film from Roger Corman starring Cory Feldman and Tony Todd, not very good

Ghost stories. (Martin Freeman & Paul Whitehouse are in it)

Starts off good
Middle bit is ok
Ending is a bit kak.

Children of Men. Damn good film and well done. First time seeing it.

That director knows how to make a film. Had no idea it was one of his films.

For whatever reason, the cinematic efforts of the Lonely Island never seem to catch on. I absolutely loved it tbh, genuinely hilarious in parts
