Finally watched Solo the other night. Thought it was decent on the whole. Not sure how I feel about the hologram bit though.

Loved that part myself but maybe because that's I'm a massive Star wars nerd and already knew about big reveal.

Just watched some German war film called The Bridge, was ok for a quid from the charity shop, from 2008, about some 16 year old German kids defending a bridge, one thing i did like was they all spoke German and the Americans spoke American, much prefer that in a war film then hearing Germans speak English to each other.
Seems this is a remake of a 50s classic, might have to track down the original now

It’s @Eggs’ fault for mentioning the movie in the Best Xmas Film thread....so I’m now watching Guns of Navarone.
Not a true Xmas movie of course....but just feels kind of right this evening.

I wouldn't call it a horror but its certainly creepy, in a chills and hairs standing up movie.

A lot more fun than I expected it to be. It's not The Godfather, it's a brainless popcorn flick and it works. And Karen Gillan is nice. 7/10
