Last Film You Watched

Watched this on the Horror Channel recently - remake of George Romero’s 1973 cult classic and much better.

A top secret US Army plane, carrying a biological weapon, crashes into wetland outside a small American town, polluting the water supply and turning nearly all of the townsfolk into homicidal maniacs.

Sounds corny, but it’s actually a very well put together film, relying on decent acting and suspense, over outright gore and horror.

Caught up on my comedies recently. Won't review them as I can't be arsed

The house- 7/10 good comedy. Ferrell character is crap and ending isn't great

Daddy's home 2- 6/10. Has it's moments buy not as good as the first.

Also seen

A wrinkle in time- 6/10. It's enjoyable but it's a film that had so much potential and it didn't really do anything with it. A kids adventure film that kinda goes from the start to end with little inbetween

Finally watching The Killing of a Sacred Deer.

Pretty good, probably on par with The Lobster. Could heavily see his influences in this one (Funny Games, Eyes Without a Face(?)).

Dogtooth is by far and away Lanthimos' best film still.

Tim Curry was deffo better as Pennywise, but other than that not a bad remake - prefer the book over both of the films.

Haha, knew this would happen!. Meant it - referring to the film being discussed in the previous posts (Jurassic World) - not IT, although I did enjoy that, having not seen the original or read the books (much like JW actually) :o :D
