You are and it isn't my responsibility to enlighten you.

If you can't see it, you can't see it.

I can see him offering no attacking options, I can see him losing his man, chasing the defender, giving him to much time to cross.

All I was asking was to give me an example where he was MOM, as you seem to think it's quite often.

Danny just did.

In addition, he had several matches where he was in the running.

Look, there are those who are gonna hate on Hibbert no matter what he does. I'm not gonna be one of those.

One game? Wow?

I don't hate Hibbert, I just don't rate him and I don't blow smoke up any players arse as you well know. If they are not good enough they are not good enough. I'd like to think I have some football knowledge to know when a player is good or not.

The problem is that he's not near as bad as many make him out to be.

The problem for me is his consistency. He can have a great game one match and be totally out of his depth the next match.

He does have the game sure, but technical skill is not form based. How often does he get the ball and waste it? How often does he allow his wingers to ghost in behind him?

Too often. He's just not good enough mate and I would think you are in the minority if you think he is.

He's fine when he's got someone who's going demand the ball off him, Gravesen in 04/05 or Arteta nowadays.

When you've got Neville, Cahill and Fellaini in midfield though he should be nowhere near the team because he's actually expected to bring the ball forward and look for a reasonably hard pass.

When Tony's playing his game it consists of winning possession and dumping off with a short pass, no more and no less, and he's rarely shown much more to his game than that and that's fine. There's a reason he was moved from midfield in his youth days. Just like TB said, he needs someone in front of him who is good at finding space to receive a pass because Tony rarely sees more than what's in front of him and doesn't possess an eye for the developing play unless it's put on a plate. He actually does get himself in good spots when he pushes up but, like everyone knows, his end product lets him down (ie. crossing). Losing Carsley was a bigger individual loss for Tony than anyone else.

Mate, we like every top club need to have fullbacks who can offer attacking threats. It's not good enough to tackle and boot it away, it's about supporting the attack and then getting back to defend and maintain your position.

That is the modern full back. And we need it because every club we go up against has that.

Completely agree...but until that happens, we've got what we've got and it's not Tony's fault. Everyone knows Tony has his limits and it's no use attacking him for it. Him and Leon have seemingly taken over the Rhino role of being the Evertonian who the supporters take their frustrations out on when things go tits up. It's not right mate...they can't be the players we'd love them to be, that's been patently obvious for years now.

If a player is not good enough then we as fans have a right to voice concern. I'm not personally attacking Hibbert as a human being. I'm sure he would suit a championship club, he's just not good enough for this level.

I am afraid hibbert and osman are poor on the right and i am sure moysie knows this but with no cash what can he do.
Hibbert has never been the same since that virus in my eyes
