Lars Agent says "He wants to stay…"

To me he looks more confident and composed than Tony - so I'd sign him.

More interested to note that - just as Bally said - once Everton has touched you...

Pienaar, Arteta, Howard, Yobo...they come here for a short time and get bitten by the blue bug and want to stay.

Says a lot for the dressing room harmony that Moyes has built.

Which is why I don't really want Owen - I think he might disrupt that carefully constructed spirit as money is his key motivation.

If he plays well against Sweden, Moyes might even consider offer him a 2 years contract, I think the main issue is not about the wages but more so on the length of the contract.

They are any team out there is willing to offer at least 2 years or even 3, and I did say he still got couple of season left with him, so I don't see any problem in offering him 2 years contract.

While he might not be the best RB we can find, he is still better than Hibbert in my opinion. Sure he is a few years older, but he still have a few seasons left in him and still manages to hold a spot in a national team. Also, since he is still in our books we won't have to pay a transferfee for him. So I'd be happy if we could sign him up on a 2-3 year contract.

Hes been saying in the Danish press i beleive that hes pretty much going to be offered a contract, not confirming wheather hed take it or not though!

Anyway wont be sorted untill after the internationals.

Another player who's been out til near the end of the season and loves it here.
Could be a trend here, get injured for most of the season, come back when all the hard work's done, play a few times and say "it's great here, give me another contract"

How much can he really be demanding? He came to Everton as a free agnet - he was out of contract at the time. Nobody seems to be chasing him around. Offer him a fair but inexpensive contract and buy yourself some excellent depth and calm at RB. If Everton still needs another RB, so be it. He's played well when given the opportunity and well worth the pittance it would cost to keep him. Moreover, he wants to be here - this is the kind of mentality we want - not those chasing sacks of money around the various European leagues.

the absolute most I can see him being on is £30k, that's £1.44 million (I think ) which isn't bad, realistically it will probably be around £15k, so £720k.
