Language: Polite Reminder

Well my ban was for mixing up letters that when rearranged would have spelled an offensive word, so...

Having said that, they were in CAPS which can be offensive

You're about as funny as aids.

p) Poor, profane or obscene language of any type is not welcome - even in jest.
The forum rules are here to help us do that, and to ensure that these forums are of the highest quality. Read them. Know them. Please do not try to circumvent them.

Probably why you was suspended mate. Probably why, you will be again.

I find that offensive.

..and again, my point wasn't that I should be allowed to circumvent (or anybody for that matter) it was that I was banned when others who have done the same but have higher posts counts, are funnier, or mates with others outside of the forum, were not.

As I said, I'm not trying to be awkward, it was an innocent question and request for a little clarification that you've turned on its head like some kind of attack.

I don't WANT to be banned from here, but obviously it is your forum and you will do whatever you like.

Anyway, Everton have just drawn our tenth game of the season. Lets just think about how happy that makes us all instead of fighting <3

I find that offensive.

Report it.

If you see a post that you believe is in violation of the forum's Rules and Guidelines or Terms of Service, it would be highly appreciated if you could use the "Report to Moderator" function to bring it to our attention.

... But be reminded;

High Maintenance Members:
Please note, any member who extracts an "extra ordinary amount of time" from the moderators or administration may lose some of their forum privileges. An "extra ordinary amount of time" is defined as anyone who requires excessive mod or administrative intervention. Excessively causing, creating, or adding to difficulties for other members or moderators, or, excessively complaining of being a "victim" of another member puts you in the category of high maintenance.

I'm not being funny but if I did report things as often as I see them then I would be in danger of automatically becoming a High Maintenance Member - what should I do?

Yeah won't be a minute, just going to report the Site Owner to himself for using offensive language. I'm being treated like Angelwitch or Matt Damon here, classic.

For the record, this was the first forum in 15 years that I have ever been banned from. I am not trying to be funny, as aids or otherwise. You're popcorning me to death here D, lad.

Perhaps you'd do well to read;

"Report to Moderator" Function
This forum has a "Report to Moderator" function built into its software (located at the bottom-left corner of all posts). The purpose of this function is to aid moderators in their duties. As you can imagine, it's not easy (nor plausible) for a small team of people to read every last post in every last thread on the forum, so this is where we need your help. If you see a post that you believe is in violation of the forum's Rules and Guidelines or Terms of Service, it would be highly appreciated if you could use the "Report to Moderator" function to bring it to our attention.

As I said, I'm not trying to be awkward, it was an innocent question and request for a little clarification that you've turned on its head like some kind of attack.

Strange you felt the need to make that comment. I never alleged you was? (Although it was blatant)

But it become clear you had a chip on your shoulder.

It's simple;

We do ask that all visitors follow our relatively laid back guidelines to ensure these forums remain user-friendly. One being;

p) Poor, profane or obscene language of any type is not welcome - even in jest.

Bad language or Profanity negatively impacts our Search Engine Ranking, puts us at risk of losing our advertising income (AdSense has rules against excessive profanity) and above all, it sours the atmosphere of the forum.

Of course, most will make the occasional slip up. But repeat offenders (and by definition of repeat - clearly fail to show any respect to the community) will find infractions mount up to an eventual suspension.

Cheers.

If you don't want to abide, then click here -> www.bluekipper.net

Thanks

I don't understand what needed clarifying about that rule to be honest. I always found "of any type" to be pretty cut and dry.

WTF? Dunc, for your information, other members do get infractions/bans for using swear words. They just don't make an issue by bitching and whining about it.

I'm not being funny but if I did report things as often as I see them then I would be in danger of automatically becoming a High Maintenance Member - what should I do?

If the reports are considered fair, then you'd never be considered High Maintenance and would by all accounts, probably end up being asked to moderate (y)
