We do ask that all visitors follow our relatively laid back guidelines to ensure these forums remain user-friendly. One being;

p) Poor, profane or obscene language of any type is not welcome - even in jest.

Please make our life easier curb the enthusiasm with foul language.

Cheers.

I'm having to bump this.

Frustrations seem to be getting the better of a lot of fans and the language on here is starting to resemble that of the Gwladys on the back of a frustrating defeat.

We need the forums to remain user-friendly and accessible, meaning you can comfortably browse our Everton forum in work if needs be without it becoming flagged.

The word censor is there for a reason, using the bolt, italics and underline feature to bypass it from today will result in a suspension. Its disregard for the forum and moderator time. "I know this isn't appreciated or welcome on here, but I'll do it anyway". Well, you won't.

Just a question. Would putting a star in between a word get me in trouble? Like for example if spike was a bad word, would I get in trouble for saying sp*ke?

Well lads, "Poor, profane or obscene language of any type is not welcome - even in jest"

Filters don't excuse it. It's all about context really, but its impossible to accurately clarify so we go for the blanket ban and call for common sense.

The priority has to be to ensure the website is user friendly and accessible, poor language doesn't help - especially when I'm having to cringe every time I moan at grown men to "stop saying naughty words"

Help us out eh?
