Sunderland were up there with the top 3 early in the season and dropped off but were never in danger of being caught for fourth place. Sheffield United were looking like being good for automatic promotion and they just fell apart late on. Both of them might find it hard to get back to winning ways for the play offs as the other teams have had to stay focused right till the final day of the season.
