Seems to have stalled at the moment. The player should stay at Sunderland - handing in a transfer request one year into a long term contract in disgusting behaviour.

If they really wanted to keep him, they'd offer him a new contract now, the fact that Moyes has specifically said 1st Sept, says it all.

No way he's staying there, the fine on top caps it off.

We dont talk like that on here.
You may or may not have ever worked. But if you did and your boss said they were given you a pay rise and all the management had agreed but the boss leaves but the management stay you would assume you would still get said pay rise.
