Think they got the right manager in Moyes. He will steady the ship there if given time. Still, I think it will prove a little more difficult than doing it with Everton. The league has become harder, richer and much more competitive.

Every prem club has more money now so it's almost a status quo financially. The other leagues will struggle to compete outside the few mega clubs

Think this season will be similar to his first with us. Make them hard to beat and grind out survival.

We have them away on 12th September so hopefully he hasn't got them ticking too soon.

Moyes is not the enemy. He loves Everton but he can't look like a fool. I think once they have a replacement in place Montseigneure Koné will be over for a quick shower and a signature.

He 'dislikes' Everton because the supporters sussed him out...and he knew 'at Christmas' that he was going to United because Fergie had told him. He certainly doesn't love Everton. Looks like Kone may be doing a Lescott on him. I really hope he is.

No I agree . My dislike of Moyes has eased as he has been piped down badly after failing at UTD and in Spain . But Sunderland are one of the very few English clubs I don't mind .

The Moyes of his Everton days takes this fee and raids the championship, Scotland and European reserve/fringe players, considerably improves your squad and signs a better player than Kone for about a quarter of the fee. Plenty of cause for optimism with him in charge.

Played well mate, especially so given the attention on him atm, tbf Kaboul played really well also, would have Koen here with no hesitation though, he's a really solid defender

A loan deal for Galloway would be a very good arrangement for both parties.
It would give Galloway premiership experience and give Sunderland a very good young player for a year and more time to get in the players they want.
