I'm not against the signing, just find it strange, unless Bobby intends to buy another Striker.

It's not ideal if he's injured. If we played two forwards it'd be barmy, but we have Lukaku and Mirallas at a pinch, so if he signs I'll take it he's close to fitness.

I don't think we will. Imo the reason we are signing Traore on loan is because there isn't a top quality striker available in Jan and Roberto doesn't want to waste money on a average forward such a Long etc. I think he believes we have a chance of signing Lukaku on a perm and wants to keep as much money as possible in case Chelsea are willing to let him go.
