Ranieri has come across from the moment they signed Traore, from what i can make out, like he wasn't that arsed about him being at Monaco. I dont know whether they have a DoF at Monaco and this was forced on him, but I reckon he's seen as still too raw for his team and this will progress to a deal.

I think Monaco will be more than pleased with a CL spot this year, long term they'll want to challenge PSG for it, they might feel those players are good enough to get them that.
They did cope more than adequately when Falcao was injured earlier in the season, which might make them think they can do again, and loan us Traore.
Good points mate, just hope Traore deal doesn't fall through.
