Various sources are reporting we will sign Lacina Traore on loan. Most of the articles are stating it with a fair amount of certainty as opposed to the usual speculation. Looks like this one is going to happen.

One thing in particular they mention is that Traore wants to come here instead of relegation battling West Ham. Hopefully his hamstring injury is not too severe. Looking at the bright side though, that injury was probably a key point in us acquiring him. It sounds like West Ham only delayed because they're worried about the injury. Their indecision gave us the time to maneuver.

Theres no reason tall player cant be technically good. The only handicap is the high center of gravity making them more prone to lose balance when dribbling or turning at high speed. There's no way to rectify it, it's law of gravity.

Got no problem with bringing in loans in January. We need to strengthen, and it's no secret how hard (and expensive) it is to do permanent deals in January.

So long as we spend in the summer (which with all the tv money etc, for once there is NO excuse not to) then loans this window might not be the worst thing.
