I think I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt still for now.
Would have been near impossible to make the sort of impact we had been hoping for in what was a fairly poor performance across the board.

Barely touched the ball all game, but importantly one of them was a goal. Did a bit to help close down from the front in the early part of the game but looked to tire out quickly, clearly needs the match fitness back. Concerning that Chelsea are next though, probably too early for him to make much of an impact there.

His first ever game for us in a new league after a few weeks out, he scores and people are still moaning wtf

Crazy isnt it, you could see he wasnt even close to being fit, thats why Bobby took him off, the goal will give him confidence, looking forward to seeing more

Good, hilarious goal. Not fit, not the best performance but you could see even him tracking back and trying to get involved.

Promising. Idk why everyone is knee jerking everywhere.

He did absolutely fine. I think I'd rather start Naismith though. Did perfectly well against Spurs, and his movement is boss. He can finish, win headers, and puts in a huge shift, his touch seems to be improving too. I'd be happy to see him start the next few.

First competitive start since October 20th, 2013. If you are writing him off already, you need your head shaking.

Great improvisation for his finish.
