This. Plenty of times in the Norwich game his first touch was class.

Hate this myth all of a sudden that he's got the worst control in the world and not that good of a player.

Best striker we've had at the club in years.

Norwich game, yes his touch was good but that really hasnt been the case all season if you are honest. Could be his boots though, i got a new pair of boots midway through last season and am only now starting to get my touch back.

He is going to be a great player though and I would be happy if we make his move permanent in the summer

Unbelievable really. Far and away the best striker we've seen here for many a year. Now the novelty has worn off..... its most likely the same people who have suddenly decided Baines is mere average and we should have him off because our lad Bryan had a good December. Its stunning really.

You know, it is possible to think Lukaku is a very good striker, be happy he is here, want him to sign permanently AND think he has a very poor first touch, bad linkup play and still has a lot to learn.

The two are not mutually exclusive.

hmmm. He doesn't have to prove much if he does come. Basically be better than Jelly as an option off the bench is his minimum...shouldn't be hard.
