What's the difference between having a boss player on loan for a season, or signing a player permanently on a 3 year contract, then said player moving on after 12 months?

There isn't any. Contracts don't mean anything these days, except protecting a players sell on value.

I think it's a bit of a joke really. If this squad does end up getting 4th then a good percentage aren't even Everton players, I just don't think it's good if a club is seen as one that relies on other club's players. One or two is fine but 4?

I dont care if we kidnap the whole lot of them and feed them bread and water for 12 months. As long as we do something this season.
