Current Affairs Labour and Anti Semitism.......

Of course not. Deselecting a prominent Pro Israel Labour MP, whilst allegedly allowing a (banned) Iranian TV station employee to both vote in, and broadcast from the deselection process, seems a bit concerning mind.

But I just read that in the Telegraph after finishing the crossword, so expect its all lies.

Why was the Iranian TV station banned? By who? Not the US hopefully, they decide someone/thing is a terrorist organisation and the whole world buys it. Ironic seeing as they themselves (the US) are the true terrorists.

As for the pro israel MP, how pro were they? Openly denying the situation in Palestine makes you unfit for office in my opinion.

Livingstone is not an anti-semite. He may be a tactless egotist and a little loose with his facts, but you really have to be a special kind of idiot to believe he's an apologist for the Nazis. More to the the point, you have to be an even bigger idiot if you believe anti-semitism is exclusive to the left.
You could say that about Boris and Trump...
THANK THE £3 membership for the real Labour as a broad church being takenn over by Momentum- full of a minority that is growing of undesirable militant tendecies of the ala 1980's .....
I cannot vote for any party ATM ......

But Joe why did the right of the Labour Party vote to bring that in?

I can tell you ate there were not 300,000 momentum people in the UK. Or people on the far left. What there are are hundreds of thousands of people who are pretty hacked off with the political class, including New Labour. The more people patronise them, and make out they are guard dogs for Corbyn, the more they push them towards Corbyn.

I'm not Corbyn's biggest fan (disagree with lots but voted for him) but it's clear the smears against his supporters have done more than anything he ever could to unite them.

If they started from the position that people dislike racism, inequality, illegal wars and injustice they'd do a lot better in understanding why people joined Labour. There's no great conspiracy.

No matter how many times you repeat this Joey, it isn’t true.

Corbyn got a shade under 50% of the actual members in 2015, 20% (or more than 60000 votes) ahead of the next candidate. If the vote had been just the membership (ie no affiliates, or the £3 mob) he still would’ve won and probably by a big margin.

Or to put it another way, the gap in membership votes between Corbyn and Burnham was more than four times as many votes as Kendall got in total; yet for some reason it’s the faction affiliated to Kendall who are in the media all the time.

The book 'bluffocracy'. Goes someway to explain why Kendall et al are so revered by the media. It's the polished headlining sentence they can put out there and move on to the next item. It focuses on current governments but Kendall Chuka are partial to meaningless establishment drivel as well.

40 people are talking about this.

Mass Media are going to be busy with photoshop me thinks

Is that why BBC uprooted to Manchester, thats BBC Manchester studio empty then

Yet in the real world Conservatives oppose action against the Obans Hungarian government. They were the only governing conservative party in western Europe to vote against the motion. Better add the Tory Party as anti Semitism enablers.

Board of Deputies of British Jews, said: “It is very concerning that the Conservative Party MEPs chose to defend Obans Hungary appalling track record, rather than supporting this motion to protect the rule of law.” Shameful really considering Obans open anti- Semitism in Hungary, the Tory mask sure has slipped since the silly season expired.

It's up to Labour to raise this in parliament for a special one day debate. Like the last one on anti semitism.

Matter of conscience for the Tories they have promoted fascist who has openly practices anti-Semitism, it's rather revolting, pity you can't see this.

The Tories vote to save Orban from censure because they are in agreement with him over his stance about immigrants and his hostility towards Muslims. The Tories have got caught out with his anti semitism though, but will try and bury this and can rely on the state controlled BBC to help them out. As happened with Gove on the Marr show. That is why it is up to Labour to raise the issue in parliament and demand another debate about anti semitism.
