When he stood back up and I realised he wasn't badly injured, I burst out laughing too, my favourite part was how he walked his bike off into the distance rather than re-mounting it. His common sense was a bit slow to kick in but he got there in the end.

The intersection of Portage and Main in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is often called Canada's windiest intersection and I saw that first-hand a few years back. I weigh 180 pounds and had to hang onto a lamppost while I watched this little old lady get blown across the street like a tumbleweed, smack into a row of metal newspaper boxes. To her credit, the old girl got up, dusted herself off and carried on; I suspect this wasn't the first time it had happened to her.
