It's a difficult one though mate. As like Barry, Martyn, Gough, Young etc all game in and did a very commendable job.

I know people like the Brighton model, but they still make use of that system too, Milner, Lallana, Wellbeck etc

Lallana and Welbeck were around 30 when they joined I think so still had plenty to offer. Milner I didn't understand but they renewed his contract so I imagine he's practically in a semi-coaching role since he's the same age as the manager.

Walker doesn't appear to make sense but it comes down to the costs.
