It probably won’t be terrible .
It will just be the classic Everton experience of witnessing a declining ‘ superstar’ go through the motions while grinding out an sizeable wage for his pension pot .
Won’t help in this instance that he also happens to be one of footballs less likeable characters.
But no doubt he will turn in a few creditable performances and thump the clubs crest like he actually gives one .
Meanwhile Everton will carry on much as before , a nowhere team .

I just don't get it we were reluctant to pay a high salary to Doucs and DCL (it was correct decision) but we do want to pay it to Walker (pretty sure he will be on 100+k a week easily)

If he comes in as a sort of Young replacement and can help the team towards the end of a match, then I think he'd be an ok signing but I'd be a bit worried if he's constantly starting games week in, week out as he's been largely plop when I've seen him for England the last year and it's evident he's on a decline.

I don't know if he'd take such a drop in wages but whether or not if he sign permanently or on loan, hopefully he's only backup. I feel he'd want regular game time to try keep his international hopes alive.
