He'll go to Spurs because they'll offer more money, we're so skint.
He's our best player at the club at present, no doubt whatsoever. I think the only reason us United fans aren't as bothered about his departure as we probably would be, is the emergence of young Kyle Walker, who is arguably just as good, just less experienced and younger.
I'd say his main attribute is his pace and his overall fitness, alongside his versatility. He's able to run up and down the line, and support the winger whenever he needs support. He's really pacey, and has often gotten us out of what seemingly looked like a tricky situation. His versatility is also key, he has proved over the last few months that he's just as capable to play left back as he is right.
I really rate the lad, and I'm a bit sad to let him go. But if he does leave, I sincerely hope it's to you. He can use Jags as a role model, and he'll have a lot of players and coaches around him that will significantly improve his development. About the fee? It's reportedly around £6m isn't it? You might just have found yourself a bargain there.

Why anyone would want to go to spurs is beyond me. Go there and get lost in the reserves, or play in the first team and get slated every week by the most fickle fans in football. God i hate spurs so fuc*ing much, always have done![]()

It's not like Evertonians are ever fickle

I think the fact that Surs are coming in for him now sums up Harry Rednapp. He has seen DM do all the donkey work to agree a fee a to get the club to agree to sell, then he moves in to offer more money. The man has no scruples at all when it comes to dealing with other clubs and managers. Fair enough, if 2 teams were interested in any players and were both bidding then that is just business but this scumbag jumps onto things when they are halfway done. Its the same when he takes on another managers job or talks about managing another team when they already have a manager. 'Appy 'Arry my a#rse.
