Yeah I was reading and listening about Umtiti… I heard the price they were throwing around for him were similar to what Zouma is going for. Wouldn't be a bad shout especially if Barca and still trying to muster up that bid for Neymar.

Chelseas last friendly is on Sat.
if he starts it might give him an indication in the pecking order (with Rudiger still to come back )
If he thinks hes 4th or 5th choice he may look to leave.
I hope and assume Brands has a plan B sorted
 
Really hope we get Zouma.

I know were 'tight' with Barca now and also Brands is doing a number on Juve but Umtiti (sale) and Rugani (loan) are being offered around it seems...but id prefer Zouma due to the way hes settled in.

If we could get Umtiti then hes potentially world class if hes over his injuries...but its a risk.

how bad were his injuries and has he played much since?
Any idea on Barcas asking price ??

To be honest not hard to say, when he only seems to like Everton stuff and i dont think even has much chelsea stuff on his pages for months anyway,only takes one twitter page to say as they have done that zouma wants to move to us,last game for chelsea tomorrow in pre season as well,like so many,he was my number 1 signing to hope we got done before any as he suited us a lot after getting up to speed

I agree. But there is no smoke without fire and he was really settled here.
Perhaps after going back to Chelsea he has realised that we are the better bet going forward :)

Hopefully i had my hopes up for this move,but when zouma was reported to have said what he did,that he wants to stay but be in the team etc,i thought it may have been over,But Lampard if hes the same as most bosses maybe told him that no one is guaranteed a place,think hes as said by so many guaranteed a starting place more at us,even though silva may have said same
