Lampard saying "I want to keep him as part of the squad" does not sound like Zouma has said anything. I read it as Lampard hoping he can keep him but not being sure yet.
We need a centre half either way. Zouma would be good but it's far from the end of the world.

Down to Zouma - he's a fool if he thinks he'll be 1st choice there especially after the transfer bans up. If I was Everton give him the ultimatum now and if not move on asap we need a CB partnership ready for the new season
