Can't blame Chelsea if they wanna run the rule over Zoom for a few weeks. Lampard will need to see for himself whether he fancies him or not. A have a feeling he'll be staying in London.

Let's hope Zouma deliberately plays poor in training for them!

Kurt will come if he pushes for a move. Realistically we have 3 senior CB including him and think he will be in the French squad if he plays regularly for Everton.

Yeah, if Lampard doesn’t rate as highly him then there’s a big chance of him leaving I think

Had Chelsea not released Cahill then there is for me no doubt that Chelsea would sell Zouma.

Had Chelsea not got exceptional talents in Jake Clarke Salter, Tomori and above all Ampadu they probably would keep Zouma.

If any two of Ampadu , Clarke-Salter or Tomori go out on loan they will keep Zouma. Alas I think that Clarke-Salter and Tomori will be sent out on loan.

So to sum all that I don’t think they will sell Zouma unless a stupid offer comes in and I suspect that is going to have to be way over £35 million. The market is bonkers.

I bumped into Kurt before outside Sports Direct, confirms he hates Frank Lampard and will be signing for le Ev within the coming weeks. I know peeps will doubt me so I asked for a photo for proof (he’s holding the new boots he bought for a fiver in the sale and he’s happy with his purchase)

Apparently, and as I have little interest in Chelsea, Lampard might have a problem with the number of home grown players needed for his squad first team. The inference being, (in the article I read), that he might be ok selling Zouma based on the fact he knows we want him.

edit. That reads dreadfully; basically, flogging the player easily, helps him solve a problem.

What do you mean by strange games mate?. He had a season wrecked by injury, which I admit is concerning, and was only able to start 7 Premier League games. But he was my MOM in at least 1 of those games and overall I thought he did very well considering his lack of fitness and being a newcomer to the league. Also 4 of those games he started were away to the teams that finished in the 4 champions league positions.

I think it's important that we have strong competition for places and I'd be delighted if we had Keane, Mina and Zouma to choose from for the CB positions. In fact I would be happy to start with any combination, albeit I'd feel safer with Zouma starting in games were Silva intends to play a higher line. However I'd be lying if I said that, of the 3, Mina is the one that I most want to succeed. Not only is he potentially a beast in the opposing area, he also looks to have an absolutely fantastic personality, a real character. It's a long time since our fans have had a proper hero. And I mean a proper one in the Alex Young/Duncan McKenzie mould. I think this guy could be the next one.

I would totally agree fred but I just cant see Frank agreeing to the roll if he had that little input on signings...I guess time will tell. It's not like I haven't been wrong before though x

frank will not have to worry about signings till next summer,unless the ban is lifted

McKenzie was a real character and one hell of a player

I've seen him loads of times over the years doing corporate hospitality at Goodison and he's always good value.

My greatest memory though was of him being carried down some street in Rotterdam, held up by about a dozen drunk Evertonians, joining in the Everton songs. And this was probably about 4 hours before the game even kicked off. Treasured memory

So Chelsea are going to start the season with 2 fit centre backs in Christensen and luiz while also having the cl to contend with and sell zouma so we can have competition for our own centre backs, while being banned from signing any players.

I mean lampard isn't the smartest guy in the world but get a grip lads.

We could always sign VVD instead
