A decent player but nowhere near worth silly money. If he were available for £20m-£25m tops then he may be a worthwhile acquisition but for something like £35m+? This is how he got into the mess we're in in the first place.

Interesting points about possible transfer fee and then compare to rumour of 50 mill for Keane.

Pretty much this, he has looked ok but we need better then ok for what Chelsea might want, be different if we had bought him for 25 last summer, but the point of a loan should be a trail, not sure he has passed it.

Yeah but if we were to in fact sell Keane for £50m, would you feel as though the buying club had got good value for their money or that we'd have ripped them off a bit?

I would think we are being silly, it would cost more than that for a comparable replacement.
