For the record, I do not like Greeks. I find them rude, crooked and nasty to do business with as they can't be trusted. However, Bulgaria to Greeks and most other nations is simply a non entity. Read history, the Greeks were the first nation to defeat a resident Ottoman population and declare independence from the ottoman empire. Also, the Greeks marched their armies and took back northern Greece from the slavs, no one really cares as everyone knows the Greeks were the oldest race in the region and were still living there when the slavs of modern Bulgaria and Fyrom were still south of poland trying to keep warm with sheep skins on the plains of nothingness dreaming of invading the Balkans for a better climate. There were many murders and lots of bloodshed to remove the slavs & Turks from Greece, just as the 2 million Greeks kicked out of Turkey experienced too. Everyone has suffered in the Balkans, the dumbest think it is only them, every nation has suffered and lost land. The difference is, Greeks are the only race actually from these areas since the dawn of civilization.

If I was you, I would grow some balls and tell your brothers in Fyrom that they are not ancient Macedonians, that the Byzantines documented when you slavs entered the balkans in AD 600.., to stop spending millions on italian built statues of alexander the great and other greek heros and to grow up. Don't worry about Greeks, we do more business with Bulgaria than any other nation, worry about your faggot Bulgarian politicians recognizing Fyrom's name as 'Macedonia' and then trying to explain to Fyromians that Fyromians are really Bulgarians.. talk about idiots..
Greece is not your enemy, we have been in this area since prehistory. We have seen the Slavs, Turks, Romans all come and play. There is no bad blood, only for the Fyromians, your demented brothers you allowed the world to laugh at and who attempt to rewrite who the Greeks and Bulgarians are.

Just agree that you both hate the Turks. They're the bad guys in all this.

Greeks refered to themselves as Greeks/'Hellenes' even in ancient times because a Greek was someone who spoke Greek, worshipped the Olympian Gods and was allowed to compete in the olympic games. Everyone else was a 'barbaros' or foreigner. So lets not encourage the myth there was never a Greece that the Turks and FYOMians base their existances on. Greece was an idea that covered city states from Sparta to macedonia and even as far as southern Italy, France, modern Turkey and Egypt. Italy is very similar, what is an Italian? It was and is a collection of city states also under one culture, religion and language. Difference is, unlike Greece, Italy doesn't have loonatic former communist neighbours called Fyrom saying italians are African and Julius Caesar was Russian. Italy doesn't have Turkey as a neighbour, flying islamic military bombers illegally over Italian airspace, like the turks do over Greek holiday islands in the Aegean. Italians don't have Albanians/Turks and Fyromians rerwriting history daily, claiming large portions of Italy as theirs and selling it to the world through America! So spare a thought for poor Greece/ They may not be charming people or trustworthy. They may be lunatics on the roads and fanatic football supporters. But they have always been crazy, at least they co-founded the west. Lets go easy on their ancestors currently dealing witht the IMF, as well as Anglo American supported Turkey/Fyrom. There are only 10 million Greeks..they are not such a bad lot/. Give them some retsina and some base and they will dance till the dawn!

I must point out, Turks - in my experience - are almost universally lovely. Warm, friendly people who seem to have no interest at all in bringing down western society. The politics of the region is another thing, of course...

The thing is that the Cypriots from both sides tend to get on when you put them in the same room. It's the politics that skews the whole thing. The influences from both Turkey and Greece don't help sometimes either.

Politics is bad for your health, everyone knows that. Without politics the world would be at peace. And possibly religion too, but dunno if we should open that box....
