Amazing how easily our players get it considering it took about 8 years for anybody to say a bad word about that tit that used to manage us.

Because 8 years was about the time it took him to take us as far as we could go, people on here are usually pretty good judges. Too early to judge Kone though, not looked good so far but can't really write off a player after such a short period.

I'm flabbergasted by the replies. It's not fair to judge a second half substitute against Man City and to judge him on about 30 minutes of football prior to that. Some people here don't seem to give people a chance. We all know it is going to be hard for him to be a regular this season, so judgements shouldn't be coming into the equasion if he isn't playing.

Mick you boss boss weirdo. Do you want to know how lids get onto you? Because you're weird lid.

As you were.

For me, it's hard to write off a player after 50 odd minutes of football. He could turn fantastic for us if Lukaku gets tired/injured.

But, my main concern is Roberto's approach to buying an old striker, for 6m, then not playing him. All i can think is that Jelavic was possibly on the verge of going somewhere and the Lukaku deal was only offered on the last day as we saw played out.

For any signings the manager should always be questioned, not the player, he didn't choose 6m.

I have a feeling in my bones (plural!), that Kone is going to make a significant to Everton this season...the stars are somehow alligning
