I just googled this and you are correct - at no point did they say they want privacy!! It is clear they wanted out of the spotlight though and, for obvious reasons, Harry has issues with press intrusion. A mad situation really. I do think think he has dropped a massive bollock by going in so hard with what seem quite fanciful allegations at his family though. I mean, a fight with his brother ffs.

If you break it all down.
You are referred to as a spare. I mean what person wants to hear that?
You spend your upbringing with rumours about who your biological father is.
Your mother might have been murdered.
You join the forces and probably have some form of PTSD.
Then you find the woman you love and want to raise a family with. The racist press tear into her, probably fed stories from his family and staff. plus one of the breakfasts news channel's going in on his new wife everyday.
He appears to get no support from his family, even going as far to say that they turned on him.
Your own brother assaults you.
All to the point where you give up the family jewels and royal titles to get away from it all.
Maybe a lot more as well I am missing out on.

Now, when you look at all that, and the fact it is still going on, You are going to be angry.
I don't blame him for lashing out and telling his side.
They need to make some money, because let's face it, security and a secure home and environment is not cheap. For a person of his status.
I don't blame him in the least.
The royal family could have set them up financially one way or another. Then Mon of this would have been heard of. They haven't,.so food needs to be put on the table. The fact he is now telling his side and brining his family to account is just tough. If they have treated Harry and his wife this badly, then he has everyright to have a dig back.

He has made some reckless decisions and will regret it in the future. I totally understand he may be a mess due to the way his mother died, but its effected his judgement here.


To add, it is well documented that his wife was an arrogant cow when in st James etc. I actually like her but she was not nice to staff etc according to reports.

As part of the Royal Family he was more than financially secure, he also had the money left to him by his mother and had full time Police protection. He has not given up any titles and never will voluntarily because they are his only source of interest and ability to rake in the millions. He has few skills, other than the Army, and his other half is a bit part actress who didn’t want to put up with being a bit part Royal. This is about jealousy and greed. He refers to the pain of losing his mother constantly, yet seems to forget that William also lost a mother. His wife has ruined any relationship with her own family and now Harry is doing exactly the same with his. They will be ostracised in the U.K. and also with the rich and powerful in the USA because no one will be able to trust them to keep a confidence before it turns up in print or on Netflix.

It’s all very sad but completely of their own doing….

I mean smith made allegations of sexual relationship between a prince and Micheal fawcett and claimed he’d been raped by fawcett . Fawcett resigned in 2021 over allegations he was instrumental in a cash for honours Scandal involving Prince Charles Charity , allegations under investigation by Scotland Yard . Early last year the Daily Mail described Charles’ “toxic obsession with Fawcett “.

I think the bloke resigned about the same time A Prince paid £12m to the woman who claimed she’d been sexual abused by him . That’s Prince Andrew close friend of convicted sex offenders Epstein & Maxwell , rather than King Charles whose friend Saville was unconvicted .

At least we’ve all forgotten that the current king told his married lover he wanted to be reincarnated as he tampax back in the 90’s.
