Any pics of Pat?
Presumably we weren't knobs as teenagers either. This book is proving no one looking out for Harry, the latest snip from his book.
After a somewhat purple-prosed confession of how he used to fancy some of the younger matrons at the prep school, he recounts how he used to take great satisfaction out of tormenting another, Pat.
He explains how Pat did not ‘make us horny’ on account of being short and unattractive, ‘not much of a thing, always with a tired face and greasy hair’.
She had a deviated spine and her knees were so stiff she had to descend the stairs backwards.
You might have thought, given Harry’s self-declared sensitivity, that this difficulty would elicit some sympathy from him.
Far from it. Instead, he stands at the bottom of the stairs and does ‘mocking little dances’ and ‘makes faces’ at her discomfort.
In other words, he humiliates the poor woman – although that, he claims, was not his primary motive: he did it to make his classmates laugh.
Presumably we weren't knobs as teenagers either.
I haven't read it, but I presume he's written it precisely to highlight what a knob he was.Did you mock disabled people because you didn't find them horny? Anyway the point is him bringing it up a grown up thinking its a good idea.
I think there is a real Problem in taking isolated passages because it removes all context . I’ve no idea what he’s trying to convey with that account but I’d imagine there might be more to it , other stories there certainly have been.I haven't read it, but I presume he's written it precisely to highlight what a knob he was.
My thoughts also.I am absolutely against the media's treatment of Harry and Meghan, and don't care what they want to do with their lives. But there's no doubt he's coming across as a complete bellend these days
Need this book to be a record seller, might tempt andrew into same... could be glorious.
big brother? His next move should obviously be a I’m a celebrity.
Yeah member of the British royal family who fought in Afghanistan was almost certainly not a target until he wrote the book .
Can just see mullah Akhundzada , thumbing through the book on his kindle “oh Harry yeah forgot about him , we should deffo go after him now “
I think it’s ridiculous and amongst the most stupid and certainly distasteful things he’s done . The context changes it slightly but not enough , for my mind , to make explain why he’s felt the need to do that .Of course he was always a target, but then rubbing their noses in it by saying he killed 25 of them is neither the brightest thing to do nor is it the normal thing done by ex military…I think he has been stupid over this, you evidently don’t ……
