Faced up to the cameras for 'final score' as well. Was anaemic stuff, he batted it all away with the usual stock answers.
still PotS btw.

I'd get his name on my shirt but it'd cost too much.Faced up to the cameras for 'final score' as well. Was anaemic stuff, he batted it all away with the usual stock answers.

To me those extra touches and dribbles for the perfect strike comes down to confidence and needing a killer instinct at all times. He’s class, no doubt. But the little I’ve seen of George is what I mean. You see an opening, no matter how small, you take it with ferocity and never second guess yourself. It’s as if we’ve been unable to score for so many years that we overthink our opportunities when the best approach is to shoot.
Definitely a job waiting for you on Monday Night Football.![]()
Could have chosen any of the coloured options, but instead thought it wise to do a 180 and run into several players — baffling. Hopefully he gets a bollocking for that and a "well done" for putting it right at the end.
If we'd have gone 2-1 up I would have had total confidence in us seeing it out, so I'm not really happy to call it having been "put right", to be honest, although I'm obviously delighted he scored.
The yellow indicates a Pienaar-style 'dink' over the goalkeeper as he did back in and day vs Arsenal on that fateful night.Definitely a job waiting for you on Monday Night Football.
