The only worry about Trippier for me is that his legs have gone. Young was superb at Villa the season before he came to us but they likely let go because his legs were gone. Hopefully the same mistake isn't being made twice. Aside from that, if he's fit, as a stop gap this is a great signing on paper. Time will tell on the field.

Was poor last season but he had some personal issues going on by all accounts.

Would easily be our best right back - which is a very low bar. Would really be an admission that the contract for Young was a mistake.
I don’t see this happening anyway.
