I agree with you. I happen to think this loan has been right for the lad. He was never going to get a look in under Koeman. Furthermore big sam was hardly going to select him, whilst we were in a relegation fight. He has played week in week out and by all accounts has done well. The championship what it lacks in quality, surely makes up for it in physicality (46 game season). Dowell will return to us a far better and confident young player, then when he left.

shoulda stayed and competed for minutes with lookman, maybe getting 45 mins each in total for the season!

Fully agree, Koeman isn’t shy in making you feel wanted or out in the cold. Dowell would’ve been in no doubt what his best decision was for this season.
