Taking away the addition of new signings it's going to be a big year for:

Arteta, Mikel: If the 4-5-1 remains, then he will be instrumental at dictating the play like he did so well last season. I dont say this lightly, he is the player we can build the team around as he brings so many other players into play and allows us a calm outlet for the back four. And he's really handsome.

Saha, Louis: A massive if, but if he remained fit and in any degree of form then he can be the only true world class player we have on our books. We bridge the gap to the top four with players like this on form and firiing.

Rodwell, Jack: From the mutterings of club staff this will be the season he makes the transition from squad to team. If he develops then we have both outstanding cover for centre half or a classy defensive midfielder who can pass a ball and assist Arteta immensely.

Moyes, David: A pivotal season with so many variables, the possibility of a potent challenge to our position from City - building upon reaching a final. Formation is a huge decision to make - the trusted 4-5-1 or 4-4-2. If he remains with one up front then we there is serious competition for the solitary place up front. Yakubu, Saha, Jo & Vaughan - even accounting for injuries. And lastly, the place behind the front man - Cahill or Fellaini.

Mikel Arteta : The Midfield Master will destroy teams with his little bottom wiggle.

Marouane Fellaini : The Belgian Banger will destroy teams with his huge heading range.

Yakubu Ayegbeni : The Striking Sensation will destory hearts with his smile and teams with his goals.

Jack Rodwell : The Young Yoda will show the whole world just why hes so god damn highly rated.

Joleon Lescott : The Defensive Demon will show City just what they are missing.

Big Years for:

Leighton Baines - established himself a regular now, and influences the whole of our team from left back, gives us something that we have not had for years. A good footballing full back.

Steven Pienaar - I love him, he's an amazing talent and definitely deserves to be playing in the top competitions, EFC Player of the Year 09/10 - You heard it here first.

Jack Rodwell - If he improves as much this year as he did last year, we've got one hell of a player.

I'm thinking Master Jack Rodwell is Gonna be the man to take us to the next level

Arteta- What can I add.

Jo- This time next summer we may be looking for coins down the back of the couch to buy this lad.

Agard.- Never seen this lad but have got a feeling He may be very special. Totally irrational and I've had these kind of feelings before and been wrong (Jon Oster for example). But I also had the feeling about a young lad called Kevin Ratcliffe a long time ago.

The whole squad - our strength is collectively, i expect Vaghan and Rodders to step up more this year though.

I think if Vaughan doesn't kick on this year that'll be it for him. It's been 4 years now since that goal, in between all those injuries he hasn't really improved much. We've got Yak, Saha, Jo and Anichebe competing up front, and Cahill and Fellaini able to act as makeshift strikers. With Baxter likely to be getting some appearances off the bench in a years time, he'll need to kick on otherwise there just won't be a spot for him.

I expect more this year from Rodwell too, but if his big kick on doesn't happen this year that isn't the end of the world.
