2024/25 Kevin Thelwell

That’s as classy a statement as you could get from someone whose ability, club loyalty and nose has been constantly questioned by fans for the entire time he’s been here.

I’m still not sure what I think of him over all, but he’s defo professional, which isn’t something you could say of the rest of the senior management from the last few years.

Can you imagine Fat Sam departing a club with a statement like that, rather than whinging about the lack of extra gravy in his extortionate pay off? Or Kenwright, if he’d lived long enough to be kicked out by new owners?

It’s weird having grown ups in charge again.

He can take some credit for the position we are now in, and being able to enjoy the transition to our new home without stress.

I wonder what the DoF at Roma makes of these developments, seeing that TFG have essentially concluded that the role as it stands is redundant and is going to be phased out overtime at most clubs.

Could it be that he’s only unpopular on this forum? The replies to that tweet from blues on twitter have all been positive and wishing him well. Not sure how he was perceived by match going fans

Roma dont have a DoF as such, so I dont think hes gonna be bothered.

I think in a few years, Evertons structure should be similar to Romas.

They split the jobs so people can focus more on 1 thing rather than everything.

I don't even think he's unpopular on this forum, it's just the same half dozen people who regularly write the same nonsense and never back their statements up.

I was negative on Thelwell but by and large that was because he was praising Dyche when we had a terrible start. He was limited but evidently he gave his all. Wish him well. Good luck.
