The Maupay signing was so bad that it kind of tarnishes the good that he has done. He has gotten some good ones in. He has failed to get quite a few in and he completely got baited by the likes of Leeds who strung us along with Gnoto. He has been completely justified in his signing of O'Brien and I think the loan signings are decent enough for loan signings. It can't have been easy to work with Sean Dyche who must have disagreed with him on every player he brought in and refused to work with some. Overall he did okay. He had a tough job

I certainly care. I liked what he managed to bring in on frees, loans and klarna deals whilst having a negative net spend for years and clearing out the squad of high earning dross to get the club back on a stable financial footing. I was quite excited to see what he could deliver with an actual budget of some sort. Let’s see just how good his replacement will be…

Not for the long term as we need future planning improvements not just that we see being transfers for the first team. But improved scouting youth team ect list goes on. I think it will be a few appointments thnink be a head scout then will see a dof who is more looking at the structure behind the scenes.
