We want Moyes doing the "good work", not ringing up some club asking if they wanna be sensible on the price.

There is plenty of work to be done and KT can help the Gaffer, thats what hes employed to do, help the Manager with recruitment.

There's a load of work that goes into signing players - when Moyes was here last time he had Kenwright doing the negotiations etc, even if Moyes is going to take the lead role in terms of identifying players etc, he will still need someone doing the "Kenwright bit" (sorry for the analogy)

Also, they will do it together, im sure KT will go to Moyes with players and the other way around, they will both look at them and agree or disagree, I cant see us signing a player Moyes doesnt want and the same for KT.

Its a process, that I assume involves a lot of people, scouts, DoF, manager, owner.

He’s making a little go a long way there, which I suppose is his specialism.

Just feels like a DoF role is completely redundant and it might as well be filled by a club secretary on a fraction of the price. Or an actual negotiator who can get us good deals.
