Mirallas kept Snapchatting Beth Martinez, and when Roberto confronted him about it Kevin claimed that "he just sends them to everyone", the manager didn't believe him and it all went down hill from there

Not heard anything at all, but a wild guess would be that he was on board with the likes of Distin, Eto'o and Baines in spotting that RM was miles out of his depth and delusional to boot.

Christ, we had Samuel Eto'o. He was an Everton player but RM binned him off and eventually paid £13.5m for Niasse instead.

That he's not a centre midfielder so had no place in the starting line up.

Good to see him starting and looking so sharp this early. Fingers crossed he can stay fit as he looks like he's going to have a blinder of a season.

Mirallas hoping for more new signings

Everton forward Kevin Mirallas says he thinks the Blues will bring in two or three more players before the deadline closes on Wednesday evening.

Manager Ronald Koeman has already brought in three outfield players in Yannick Bolasie, Ashley Williams and Idrissa Gueye, but Mirallas says that if you hope to win trophies then you need the best players.

“If you want trophies you need the best players,” said Mirallas.

“With the new manager we’ve signed three new players and I think two or three more are coming.

“[Koeman said to me] I know last season was hard but I know your football and I know you and I believe you.

“When your manager says that to you it gives you confidence.

“I started well in pre-season and I’ve continued to play which is good for me but I know I need to continue my progress.”
