If Mirallas is still here when Jags is no longer an automatic starter, I'd consider him for captaincy. He's got a very competitive "win at all costs" mentality and is, IMHO, an automatic starter when fit. Scored a technically exquisite goal tonight and was heavily involved in most of the attacking play. Also tracked back and helped out Oviedo defensively. Excellent performance overall.

I think he's right to be angry when he's not involved. He has to be starting when fit, he's got too much quality.
Easily our most technically gifted player and I'd probably say he's the best finisher at the club too, even ahead of Rom. Always fancy him to slot a one on one.

Of course not. Second highest goal scorer for us last campaign. Perhaps overlooked by the majority as he was already here, but getting Mirallas to stay this window (and sign a new deal) will prove to be one of the best bits of business we did this summer.
