Kevin Mirallas

Playing very good football. Class.
I think we have the players in our squad to challenge for trophies and I would not want the squad to be upset by additions in the Jan window.
Once the existing squad's confidence is fully restored, the glory days will return.

...wow. I'm naive and take things as they're said but I'm working out that your post might be sarcastic.

The problem with Kev is that when you need leaders on the pitch and everyone to stand up and be counted you can guarantee Mirallas would not be up for the fight. Now he's not the only one who does this, they're all at it but Kev is a prime example of the style over substance felling that plagues this side.

What is this nonsense? How many times have you actually seen him shirk responsibility?

Kev has enough pace to play in a Koeman team but dives into tackles and lacks the discipline for the kind of game we will be playing. If he could improve that part of his game he could play the Shane Long role for us.

Half the team last night looked completely ambivalent. Mirallas, however, was part of the other half and gave a decent performance. It seems he's lost a yard of pace, but he's still quick off the mark and at least TRIES to move off the ball - I can't help thinking that if we persist with a 4231 it might work better with Mirallas as the 10 (unless we bring a big-time 10 in during the window). Having said that I would rather we went to the 343 and played him on the left of the front three.

Just name a handful. Not where he's just had a bad game, but where he clearly shirked responsibility
Im not sure I'd describe it as shirking responsibility. Im thinking more about his lack of fight and how he just lets his shoulders drop and sulks if this aren't going his way. When we plays well he does it in style but every time he plays bad he compounds his performance with his attitude when he should just be getting on with it and working hard to improve.
