Gerry will definitely play today. That's why he didn't start against Spurs. Mirallas a lot more likely to start against Dag & Red. than Del is.

Mirallas isn't the saviour some of our fans make out, but he did well tonight and was brought on at the right time imo.

As for the pen, I'd have been fuming if that had been given. So so soft and considering we get zero in return I would have been apoplectic. Incidentally the ref was excellent for once. But to claim mirallas almost cost us is way off the mark.

True mate, that was lucky but you know what Dave how many pens should we have had this season? Let's say that was number 1 decision to go our way this season when it comes to things like that. He's still rusty from lack of game time but hopefully he will get 90 minutes Saturday

Definitely a penalty but exactly the sort of player - like Osman when he came on - you want in your side holding a 2-1 lead and down to ten men

Won a massive header just after the Toure freekick as well.

Worked hard tonight, kept the ball well at the death too.
